In comparison to the D’Luxe factory, it was interesting how similar the flow of production worked from sampling, leather inspection, to various forms of assembly. However, it was also notable how the workers were trained for several assembly areas rather than being specialized in just one process. Sitoy seemed to be very conscious about quality and individualizing the product to customer relationship. 

After personally doing research on this company, it was exciting to see the Tuscan’s and Fashion & Joy luggage brands (in-house) in person as well as hear about their advancement in technology and techniques. I also thought it was really neat to see each part of the handbag being tested for resistance, strength, elongation, longevity, etc in their engineering department.
